What Is a Underslung Crane?

The underhung crane, also known as the underslung crane, is a light-duty material-handling bridge crane supported by a ceiling truss or roof structure. Underslung crane is usually equipped with a CD1 or MD1 electric hoist and is widely used in machinery manufacturing, metallurgical plant, warehouse, stockyard, power stations, the textile industry, and the food industry. The underhung bridge crane can be designed as a single-girder or double-girder bridge crane, but it is generally used for handling light load conditions. so the lower suspension bridge crane is usually designed as a single girder with a lifting capacity of about 10 tons. The Precautions of Underhung Crane

• Based on safety, the rationality of the operation must be guaranteed, that is, the weight of the lifted material must be within the rated lifting capacity.
• Before starting the lifting operation, the safety inspection of each component should be carried out as required. If abnormal conditions are found, they should be eliminated.
• The operator must confirm that there is no one on the platform or track before closing the main power supply.
• Before lifting, the material should be checked for safety, and dangerous objects such as explosions should not be lifted.
• After the operation, raise the hook to a certain height, park the cart at the designated position, and put the controller handle at the "zero" position; pull down the knife switch and cut off the power supply.
• Perform daily maintenance.
