Aisha Steel Mills Limited (ASML) is a subsidiary of the Arif Habib Group. Founded in 2005, ASML started commercial operations in 2012 and is one of the largest flat steel manufacturers with factories located in the most suitable locations for export markets. Its cold-rolled and hot-dip galvanized coil manufacturing plant is located in Port Qasim, Karachi.
The customer currently has 2 cranes, 30-ton crane and 25-ton crane, and he wants to buy some overhead cranes on the same span, and requires both remote control and ground operation. The 50 ton overhead crane for steel mills is composed of box-type bridge, lifting trolley, crane traveling mechanism and electrical system. This is an excellent option where high speed and heavy service is required. Since the currently widely used hoisting machinery is particularly suitable for working in sectors such as warehouses and freight yards, it is prohibited to use the equipment in flammable, explosive or corrosive environments.
The hook bridge crane works by relying on the longitudinal movement of the bridge frame along the direction of the workshop track, the lateral movement of the trolley along the direction of the main beam and the lifting and lowering movement of the hook. The high lifting capacity of this crane is designed with two hooks, which means two independent lifting mechanisms. The main hook is used to lift heavy objects, while the auxiliary is used to lift light objects, and the auxiliary can also be used in conjunction with the main hook to tilt or tip the material. However, when the cargo weight exceeds the auxiliary rated capacity, do not lift using both hooks at the same time.
