Installation of a single girder overhead crane involves several steps, including site preparation, assembling crane components, electrical wiring, and testing. Here is a general guide to follow:
Ensure that the building where the overhead crane will be installed has adequate headroom, and the concrete floor is strong enough to support the overhead crane's weight.
Determine the location of the bridge crane runway and install the necessary rails or beams.
Ensure that the eot crane runway is level and properly aligned.
Assemble the bridge girder by connecting the end trucks and the main girder using bolts or welding.
Install the hoist and trolley onto the bridge girder, ensuring that they are properly aligned.
Attach the pendant control to the overhead crane.
Connect the electrical power supply to the overhead crane.
Wire the pendant control to the hoist and trolley.
Install limit switches, overload protection, and other necessary safety devices.
Perform a load test to ensure that the crane is capable of lifting the maximum load.
Test the controls to ensure they are functioning properly.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure that all components are secure and in proper working condition.
Note: It is recommended to have a qualified crane installer or technician perform the installation process. The crane installation process can vary depending on the specific model and manufacturer of the overhead crane. Therefore, always refer to the manufacturer's instructions and guidelines for detailed installation procedures.

The price of a single girder overhead crane installation can vary depending on various factors. Some of these factors include the capacity of the crane, the span of the crane, the height of the lift required, the type of hoist and trolley, the location of crane installation, and the type of building where it will be installed.
On average, the installation price of a single girder overhead crane can range from $10,000 to $50,000.
However, it's essential to note that additional costs such as site preparation, electrical work, and any required permits may increase the overall cost of installation. Also, the cost of ongoing maintenance and repair should be considered when determining the total cost of owning a single girder overhead crane.
